The surf beach at Venus Bay is one of Victoria's best. It extends for over 20 kilometres and has five access points from the Venus Bay estates. It is always easy to find a quiet area away from the crowds, even in the middle of summer.

Venus Bay is renown for its dangerous rips and undertow. The following quote appeared in the Melbourne Herald Sun some years ago: 'There were 42 beach rescues along the coast of Victoria yesterday - 27 of which took place at Venus Bay'.

Please ensure you swim between the flags and follow the instructions of the surf life savers.
